The Iraqi insurgents have killed far more of their own people than the U.S.
Military. Not to mention what Saddam did to the Kurds. He systematically

The insurgents are not soldiers. They are cowards. They prefer to prey on
those who are unable to defend themselves, like unarmed civillians, including
women and children. That is why they set off bombs in crowded markets and on
busses and trains. When they do attack military targets, they focus on the
support and resupply units, because they know these are less heavily armed than
combat units. They thrive on weakness, chaos and fear, and the apathy of those
who are able to stand up to them. Like a schoolyard bully, if you do not
retaliate when they attack, or if you flee from them, they take it as a sign of
weakness, and will keep coming after you. One of the reasons they came after us
on 9-11 is because of the weakness Clinton showed in Somalia. When one mission
went bad, and some American blood was shed, Billy boy did not have the courage
and resolve to tackle them head on. He was too busy banging interns in the oval
office and worrying about his approval polls. He pulled our troops out of
Somalia, and the terrorists (not soldiers), who were trained by Osama and his
cronies by the way, saw it as a sign of weakness. To them, it showed that they
could defeat the "Great Americans." Not long after, the USS Cole was
bombed, and then the WTC was attacked. The WTC attack took years of planning.
They began putting it in motion while Clinton was still in office, because they
perceived him as a weak leader who would not retaliate. If Gore had one the
election in 2000, the attacks would still have gone off, and he would have
rolled over and taken it like a pussy, just the same as Clinton would have.
Thank God that a we had a President in office who had the balls to draw a line
in the sand and say "NO MORE! If you attack us, we will come after you! If
you kill our people, we will hunt you down! We will not stand idly by and wait
for you to keep hitting us over and over again! We WILL fight back!"
Fortunately, "W" was more concerned with showing that the USA will not
take it lying down than keeping his poll numbers high and "getting a little
intern action," that Hillary didn't know about on the side.

stay and finish their job, because they BELIEVE in what they are doing there.
Sure they would like be home with their families, but they feel that there is
honor in the job they are doing, and do not want to be pulled out before they
feel the job is done. For every insurgent they run across, there are plenty of
decent Iraqi people who are thankful that the US is there.

3.) Stop the arabs from building a bomb.
4.) Ensure that there will be enough war to keep the population back home under
control.
5.) Break open the state-run markets in greater arabia, and allow American
corporations to make some more money.
The US will do whatever it takes to achieve those goals, as long as it doesn't
inspire effective opposition back home.
The more people that believe we are doing "the Right thing in Iraq",
